2008 Homecoming Meeting

There will be a mandatory homecoming meeting on Thursday September 4, 2008 at 5:30pm in Grandfather Ballroom. Clubs wanting to participate in homecoming are required to attend this information session.

Duck Pond Tailgating Meeting

A meeting concerning Duck Pond tailgating will take place August 28th, 2008 at 5:00pm in the Price Lake Room in the Student Union. Clubs are required to attend if they want to tailgate on Duck Pond Field during home games.

Fall 2008 Club Presidents Meeting

We will be holding the Fall 2008 Club Presidents meeting on Thursday, September 18th at 5:30. It will be held in the Grandfather Mountain Ballroom located on the first floor of the Student Union. This mandatory meeting will provide important information for your club or organization so make sure the president or another exec member can attend the meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Coordinating Council of Clubs is looking for dedicated and hard working individuals to serve on the Council. If you are interested, click on the form to your right, fill it out, and turn it into the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (second floor of the Student Union).

Club Council Office Hours have been posted on the door outside the office located in room 214 in the Student Union (2nd floor right outside McAlisters). You can also view the office hours by clicking here.

The purpose of Club Council is to:

  • Act as a conduit of information regarding policies and regulations affecting organizations between University Recognized Organizations and Appalachian State University by providing a representative voice of all student organization presidents, officers, and members.
  • Act as a resource to organizations through assisting in interpreting policy
  • Provide support for organizational programs
  • Connect organizations with on-going training provided at Appalachian State University through a variety of mediums.
